It’s one of those days where I remember I’m in grad school and I really don’t have time to blog. But blogging and taking pictures of delicious food is what I do. And how I procrastinate. Today is a short post, but I’ll leave you with some interesting tidbits.
- Red quinoa has more fibre than white quinoa
- White quinoa has more iron than red quinoa
- Quinoa is a seed, not a grain
- Quinoa is high in protein and therefore keeps you full longer than most grains
On another note, here are some upcoming things I have planned for my blog in the next couple months =)
- I’ll be going back to add watermarks to my photos I take that back. I’m too lazy. My posts from now on will have the watermark
- A move from WordPress.com to WordPress.org
- Geek Week
- Macaron Week Round Two
- Visual Recipe Index
And here is the recipe =)
