So I finally made these! I know I was supposed to make them aaaaages ago, but raspberries just weren’t on sale until today… haha. I saw them at the grocery store and I thought, HEY. THOSE LOOK LIKE THEY’D BE DELICIOUS IN CUPCAKE FORM. Especially with cheesecake.
So lately I’ve been trying to budget my money (I’m not very good at it. I like food too much. And lately I’ve developed an affinity for shoes…and purses. Why do I choose to be most girly when I have no money?) Anyway. One of the efforts of spending less money, is drinking fewer bottled drinks (i.e. juice, gingerale, aloe vera juice, arizona iced tea OOH I should try making that…) so I’ve been drinking more water. Now I’ve never been a fan of water. Sure, when it’s a hot day, I’ve been running around a lot, I’d LOOOOVE a glass of delicious, ice-cold water. However, I generally prefer some sort of flavour to my drinks.

The past mother’s day weekend has been spent at Edible Arrangements, dipping hundreds and hundreds of pieces of fruit in white and dark chocolate. The thing I love about this job is that my boss loves good quality fruit bouquets AND she lets me eat my own mistakes.
Lately I’ve been in a candy-making mood, and again, I saw this delicious looking recipe from vanilla and lace, the same blog that had the salt water taffy recipe. I’m not sure why I’m making so much candy though, I’m not really in the mood to eat it. Actually I ate about 10 of the salt water taffies and I still kind of want more. Is that bad?
I’ve been seeing salt water taffy EVERYWHERE. It was on Glee, I’ve stumbled upon it several times, and I’ve seen them on display. Since I don’t really recall ever eating salt water taffy myself, I was like, what the heck, why not, I’ll make some of my own.
